I am very pleased with First Edition Design Publishing. Debi, Dave and Justin were all a pleasure to work with. They were always kind and so patient with my never ending requests. Debi has been exceptional in responding in a timely manner to all of my questions. She also made me feel like she cared that I would be completely happy with all aspects of my book when it was finished. As a first time author, I needed a little hand holding throughout the publishing process. Debi and everyone at FED were always there to support and help me along the way. I’m very happy with my paperback version. The paper and print quality is excellent. I’m very thankful for FED!

Debi is wonderful and responsive to the needs of my novel.
I had a problem with the cover of my book not matching the
excellent quality of the jpeg that was sent to me and I am
awaiting that correction, which I am sure will be taken care of.

Debi is a champ. She was right on point for us, patient, knowledgable, always available. The quality of the book was excellent, way beyond expectations. I had researched other companies and had worked with a traditional publisher on another project. First Edition Design Publishing was and is the best.

I had already wasted several thousand dollars by starting off with a subsidiary of one of the biggest names in the publishing business. Out of frustration one day I googled top ten publishers, scrolled down and found http://www.publisherrank.com. There I found a matrix comparing every category an author should consider for print and ebooks. First Edition Design Publishing excelled in every category. I called and was treated to the most patient, caring, and informative service conversation I’ve ever experienced. Literally speaking of course, I fell in love with Debi. The professional services that followed were excellent. From the cover design, interior layout, to pricing and distribution they are the best.

I had already purchased a publishing package from another publisher when I came across a great review for First Edition Design Publishing. I had become so frustrated with the change-over in personnel and their lack of ability to answer my questions, with the other publisher, that I decided to give FEDP a try. Right from the get-go, I knew I had made the right decision. Debi Gordon answered the phone and could answer my questions herself. She assured me that they are as committed as I am to making the book 100%, and that is absolutely true! This has been the best experience I have had with any vendor in any field in a very long time. Debi made suggestions on the book size and cover selection that are perfect. The cover is amazing, and the formatting spot on. I have never seen people be so attracted to the look and feel of a book like they have been with this one. It seems to sell itself! The cover portrays the essence of the book, both front and back. People’s eyes widen and their mouths drop open when they see it. I’m not kidding! What a delight, as an author, to have that kind of response to something we have poured our hearts into. Debi and I are already beginning to collaborate on my next book – a second edition of a previous book. I am completely sold on FEDP. Thank you so much, Debi and your team!

I have worked with two other publishing companies besides First Edition Design Publishing. By far, my experience with FEDP was best – in all categories. Customer service was incredibly patient as well as efficient in answering my questions. The work – formatting, cover art – was professionally done and the end products were of excellent quality. And, everything was accomplished in less than 5 days!!! Thank you First Edition Design Publishing!

She was approachable, knowledgeable & very kind from the start, & I knew immediately that this is a company I would not only enjoy working with, but with which I would truly feel at ease. I felt an instant heartwarming connection with Debi… & now, as I read previous comments, realize that that’s how she makes every client feel. You feel valued & prioritized through every step of this process. As previously stated, she has been tremendously supportive & patient, two traits for which I was particularly grateful as I am a new author… & not very computer savvy! These traits are consistent within the company as my editor, Kirsten, was also so patient & lovely that I felt compelled to send her a thank you gift to demonstrate my heartfelt appreciations. This has been such a wonderful experience & I look forward to future relations when I finish my sequel!
