My experience with First Edition Design Publishing was a very positive one. My questions were answered directly and promptly. The turn around in the review of my manuscript and in the cover design was rapid. The quality of the formatting and cover were excellent. I am mostly impressed with the responsiveness of the support staff. Justin worked on my cover art on a Saturday night, of all things, emailing me with revisions and following my suggestions well. Overall, a very positive experience.

I had processed several E-books through First Edition and it was a very satisfactory experience. And when I repeated with a print on demand recently, from start to finish it was so professional, so out of their way to make it a nice experience. Their are many publishers out there, and many of those publishers seem to be more interested in money than quality. I am more than pleased to say that is not the case with First Edition Design Publishing. They care about the product that is put out under their name. Debbie made it clear that if I was not satisfied, she would not be either. She was also very patient, because with me, you have to be! Every person that has seen my book can not seem to get over how professional it was done… even those who published traditionally! This has been a wonderful experience. Thanks Debbie!

I just got published and I’m super pumped up, how exciting is this! I searched for a publisher and got a lot of, “well its going to cost you $3,600-$7,000 and well we can’t exactly do that and its going to take 3-6 months to complete, etc…” Then I called up First Edition Design, left a message and Debi called me back within 10 minutes. I explained my book and what I was looking for and she walked me through step by step. I was comfortable throughout the entire process, which by the way finished in weeks, not months. Now kids around the world will be getting their latest adventures of Kalico Jack in time for Christmas, how awesome is that. I’d like to thank Debi and the whole staff at First Edition Design Publishing for a great experience, a fantastic book all amidst riding out a huricane, thanks so much!

First Edition Design Publishing was tremendous. With all the scams around today I was very afraid to jump in. I am not computer literate bur Debi at FEDP was extremely helpful and very easy to contact. She answered my e-mails and returned my phone calls the same day or early the next morning. There were no surprise charges or expenses and all were very well explained. It took about 5 to 6 weeks for the whole process from manuscript to a completed book in my hand. Cover design was exactly what I wanted. I am ready to process my second manuscript.

The best way I can relate how great my experience with First Edition Design Publishing has been is to say that this is the third book we’ve done together, and I do mean together as Deborah Gordon has gone out of her way to make sure it’s a rewarding experience. The marketing and distribution suggestions are extremely helpful. But most importantly, and remarkable in this day and age is that you get an prompt answer to an e-mail and a voice on the other end of the phone thats never dismissive and always helpful.

I am very pleased with First Edition Design Publishing. Debi Gordon is a pleasure to work with. She is always kind and patient with my questions and requests. I have used another publisher which does not do what FEDP is offering; I.E: Marketing, distribution, and suggestions. Debi returned my calls promptly being there unlike my previous publisher, offering why and how’s to get what I wanted accomplished. . She also made me feel like she cared and I would be completely happy with all aspects of my book when it was finished. I am planning to use FEDP for my future book publishing.
